Recuperating

I believe 'girlfriend' is feeling better. This photo
was taken about an hour ago and she seems comfortable.
Her tail had quite a hunk of fur bitten out of it.
No fur has been found. Jimy isn't talking and he doesn't
understand why he is being confined to the Living Room.
He doesn't realize it yet, but he is going to have to stay
there until her tail heals.

I watched the movie "Old School" Saturday Night.
Did this fall short or what? There were some funny bits
but you have to watch so much 'not funny' to get to the
funny stuff. Was it supposed to be a takeoff on
'Animal House?' It missed in my opinion.
Watched the "Spurs" win an NBA Championship on Sunday.
Would have been nice to see a Game 7 on Wednesday.
Enjoyed The Red Seal Ale during the Game. I liked it as
much as Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Today I Purchased a Canon Power Shot S50. The above
photo of 'Girlfriend' was the first photo taken.
So far I like. The original photo was a jpeg,
about 1.5 mb at 180 dpi. The camera shoots a
RAW File (a larger File), so that is probably the
way I will use it.

An afternoon thunderstorm just passed by. We had .27 inches
of rain in the backyard.

Saturday Morning

I worried all night about 1 of my cats. Late last night
Jimy the Cat bit Girlfriend the Cat in the tail. Blood all
over the kitchen floor. Now Jimy is exiled to the
living room with Scruff the cat and Girlfriend is
recuperating in the TV room with Hopper the Cat.
She seems to be doing fine no thanks to Jimy.
I thought he was getting along with her.
But that was a plain outright assault.
She made the mistake of thinking they were
finally friends and let her guard down.
Jimy can be very sneaky. Lulling you into a
false sense of friendship, meanwhile he silently
waits around the corner to make his pounce
as you come along unaware that he is waiting.

Jimy can be so sweet and appreciative. I am
so disappointed in him.

Anyway, everything seems to be better this morning.
I went to Whole Foods Market to pick up a few things.
Looking through the Beer Cooler I asked about Red
Seal Ale. It came highly recommended so I am
going to try some tonight. It is made by North Coast
Brewing
located along the Mendocino Coast of California.
I usually drink Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

I miss the Brew Pubs in the Western States.
Il Vicino in Albuquerque was one of my favorite
places for Beer and Pizza. They brewed
some of the best beer I have ever tasted.

I was reading the July issue of New Mexico Magazine
and noticed a 10 day Photo Arts Fesival in Santa Fe,
July 11-20 2003. I wish I could be there.
Santa Fe is wonderful in any season.
